The restaurant is not as bad as the reviews suggest! The service is good. The Cadillac Margaritas were large and tasty at $12. The food is not great. We both ordered shrimp and both were in shells and swimming in sauce, and this messy to eat. The refried beans were smooth and almost creamy. The rice is white, not the usual reddish color. The carrot salad is sweet. Chips good but the salsa was bland. The corn tortillas are made fresh.

I was hesitant on coming to this restaurant because of the yelp reviews. Wanting Mexican food, I was heading somewhere else, But the front desk lady at my hotel told me she really liked it, and being Mexican, she knows Mexican food. Well, I'm glad I listened! The place was empty (again, wondering if people stay away because of the reviews as I almost did), but the service was great! I always say you can tell how good the food will be by their chips and salsa. And I loved the chips and salsa! I also ordered a shredded beef taco-delicious! A beef tostada-delicious! Rice and beans-delicious! And combo fajitas (chicken, shrimp, and steak)-good! Now, I can't say those were delicious, but they were good. I wasn't a fan of the sauce used, but I'm sure it's just an acquired taste. So I don't want to say they weren't tasty, I just didn't care for the flavor. I want to make sure I'm fair about what I loved and what was good. All in all, I would definitely eat here again. And the lady who recommended it to me said she loves their Chile rellano (spell check). Hope you guys give this place a shot! If I'm ever in Visalia again, I would!

I hate giving bad reviews but this place sucks. The food is awful. I've given it a couple of shots and I won't be doing it again. The food just isn't good. Especially the seafood. Just don't do it. And I'm not really picky but man. Doesn't taste fresh. Other things taste over cooked.....just no bueno. And I really like the owner and I want to love it because of the ambiance, but I can't.
They have mariachi on the weekend sometime but then when you request a song, pretty popular ones too, they don't know it and I'm like okurrrrr whatever.
Drinks are decent and the bartenders are nice and attentive. It would be the only reason I return. Just FYI as a woman, the male to woman ratio is ridiculous! If you're a cute girl and you walk in here you will find yourself in a bar full of men checking you out and calculating their next move. Very little female action going here which feels kinda weird being so outnumbered.
Pretty stained glass window. Seems clean. I wish I could like it but no. I repeat, the food sucks -

Unfortunately the food was not very good here. The place is cute, and the waitress was nice and professional, but besides the tortillas, (which were good) the food was bland. Even the chips wterent good. I'm not hard to please, but I wouldn't go back.
